Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the central part of Kerala State of India was founded in 1925 by a small handful of members. 97 years after its establishment and after several expansions and renovations, the community is once again feeling the need to expand and renovate the church to hold its membership. Presently, the parish has 114 active member families, all from financially average means. The Parish has always been in the forefront in its mission, epitomized by the large number of priests and religious produced from its membership, including three Bishops who are currently in office. Sacred Heart indeed “is shining its light set on a hill to shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”. It is their fervor for worship and the ever-growing membership that has brought them to seek help to build a beautiful and blessed place of worship. Out of an original need of $650,000, the parish has been able to secure approximately $400,000 through personal sacrifices of its parishioners, fundraising events and donations from organizations. Raising the remaining $250,000 of the need is subject to the loving kindness of donors. Kindly give ear to their needs and endeavor to support their genuine effort in every possible way before the Almighty so that their goal can be met and they can raise their prayers to the heavens above from a comfortable space.
